Appalachia Explosives maintains a zero-tolerance policy in regard to drugs and alcohol.  All applicants must be able to pass a federal background check. 

Certified Blaster

Applicant must have a valid blasting license in Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee, or West Virginia.

Mechanic

Applicant must have knowledge on truck repair and a strong understanding of hydraulic systems.

Truck Driver

Applicant must have either a class A or B CDL license with tanker and hazmat endorsements.

Blaster's Helper

Applicant must be 18+ years of age and have a Kentucky/Virginia surface miners card.
